Our client is a well-established (over 30 years) mixed animal group, that are family owned and looking for their next integral team member.
Are you a Veterinary Surgeon that is looking for a care driven group? Do you love treating mainly equine patients? As if so, this could be the role for you!
The group covers equine and large animal patients across the South Lancashire and Greater Manchester region. They strive to always work at the highest standards possible and are proud to go above and beyond for their patients. They believe communication and trust is very important for owners and endeavour to excel in this respect.
Location
This role is based in their flagship site near Bolton, and the group covers the South Lancashire and Greater Manchester region.
The Role
In this role, you will see a varied caseload day to day and cover all aspects of first opinion caseloads and surgery. Vets are encouraged to follow cases through wherever possible.
Our client is happy to support and facilitate any special interests that you may have.
Your caseload would be 85% equine and 15% large animals.
Experience / Who we are looking for
• A team focused Veterinary Surgeon
• Patient and care driven
• Someone looking to progress long term
• You should be happy working in sole charge with 1st opinion caseloads and surgery.
• Whilst the ideal candidate would be an experienced vet, applications are welcomed from new graduates too.
• An enthusiastic & experienced team player who has a friendly personality with great communication skills.

This is a full-time role, helping to cover an out of hours rota as part of the team.
