About the role
Are you an RVN or experienced second year SVN looking for a new challenge in a busy mixed animal practice?
If you are, we need you!
Our client is a fast pace, ever growing practice looking for a new team member to join their dynamic team, lots of hands on surgical and medical nursing, new DR x-ray system.
The current team has 6.5 vets, 3 RVNs (4 with the new applicant) and 1.5 anas plus an experienced team of receptionists. They are a welcoming and supportive group of individuals with a great team ethos, and there is a positive vibe throughout the practice. Many have specialisations including Orthopaedic surgery, Rehabilitation and Wound Care.
They are always looking to work at the highest standards possible, and they are a Cat Friendly Practice and RCVS accredited for all species.
Duties and hours
Full time hours are 36hours per week, with 1 in 4 weekends on rota.
Most of their RVNS work 8am 6pm over 4 days, however they are openminded to a 5 day week should someone prefer this.
Part Time applicants will also happily be considered.
There is OOH standby one night per week. When working this standby night, you are paid a standby fee and then paid overtime if called in.

- RCVS registered, or a Second Year Student Veterinary Nurse.
