We are working on an exclusive vacancy for a Float Veterinary Surgeon to join a celebrated veterinary group in Northwest London. This is a rare opportunity to diversify your skillset as a Vet within a supportive, team focused environment, working with lovely client base and travelling across a range of first opinion practices. The surgeries within this group are largely accredited by the RCVS and feature state-of-the-art veterinary facilities, enabling you to enjoy working with an interesting, varied small animal caseload. If you enjoy a varied, diverse role where no two days are the same, this is the role for you. Our ideal candidate will be based in North or West London, and will enjoy the flexibility of working between a variety of practices, from busy veterinary hospitals to sole charge branches. You’ll be tasked with a wide range of general, first opinion veterinary duties including a mixture of consults and routine ops as needed day-to-day. This is a full-time, day shift position with a weekend rota (with time off in lieu), and will include occasional night shifts and on-call duties. However, with the nature of the role there is some flexibility on the hours and location for the right candidate.
Who are we looking for?
• Experienced, RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
• Minimum 3 years’ qualified experience
• Must be confident in sole charge
• Competent in routine first opinion surgeries
• Happy to work within a team or independently as required
• Equally confident working in a busy hospital as you would be in a small, sole-charge branch practice
Working hours & benefits:
• Outstanding salary up to £80,000 p.a.
• Full-time role
• 1:4 weekends with time off in lieu
