We are working with a surgery with 5 Veterinary Surgeons, and 3 other RVNs, 2 SVNs, VCAs and a large reception team of 5.
Within this role you will liaise with the vet team to ensure that the surgery is working at the highest levels possible, whilst ensuring all the RVNs and support team are happy and looked after. Our client has a huge focus on wellbeing within the workplace, so a caring and team focused approach is a requirement within this position. Nurses are the heart of their practice and perform an integral clinical role in caring for patients.
You must be comfortable with leading by example, have great communication and organisation skills and take pride in working to a high standard.
You will have an interest in and want to learn about, the practice as a business, as well as how to motivate a team to achieve their personal and practice goals.
Ideally you will have experience in a Head Nurse role, managing a team and enjoy coaching and mentoring nurses and student nurses. However, we will consider this role for someone looking to make the ‘next step.’
Key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the Veterinary Nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care.
You will be a strong team leader and will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations in the practice.
This role is a full time position, with just 1 in 4 weekends working Saturday 9am-6pm and Sunday 11am-5pm with no OOHs.
