About this vacancy and our Client’s Veterinary Group
An exciting opportunity has arisen within a highly-reputable, small animal veterinary practice in Western Suffolk for an experienced, vibrant and bubbly Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their close-knit and busy team. This would be a wonderful chance for an ambitious RVN to take the next steps in their career, or for a proven HVN who can bring a wealth of knowledge and bright ideas into a friendly and supportive surgery.
The surgery benefits from state-of-the-art, modern facilities including capnography, full in-house laboratory, separate dog and cat wards, and in-house orthopaedics, acupuncture and physiotherapy. As a result, you will see an interested and varied selection of caseloads, all the while benefitting from strong financial backing with a large base of insured clients.
You should be confident and capable in all areas of general nursing duties, including the organising and running of nurse clinics. You will also ideally be a Clinical Coach, and will enjoy mentoring and supporting student nurses within the team, as well as offering guidance where necessary to the more experienced nurses to ensure continual learning and development.
This is a full-time position with 1:3 weekends on the rota, for which you will receive generous time off in lieu during the weeks before and after.
We require a candidate with at least 3 years’ RVN experience.
