If you are a Mixed Vet on the west Wales coastline who is looking for a varied and exciting role – look no further.

Our Client runs an independent mixed animal (small, equine and farm) practice which upholds a loyal clientele & a great reputation in the local area due to their expertise and the friendly manner of the team. The practice is bright, airy and spacious with state-of-the-art facilities such as in-house laboratory, fully equipped consult rooms, modern operating theatres (newly refurbished) & all the mod cons you would expect. They also have large stables and kennels as well as a peaceful waiting area for small animals.

They have over 5 on their veterinarian team, all with different talents and interests under the ‘mixed’ label! With specialisms varying from equine fertility to cattle medicine to small animal surgery, you will be joining a diverse and supportive team that are excited at the prospect of growing.

In your free time, you will be able to explore the stunning coastline or go a stones’ throw away to Snowdonia or the Brecon Beacons.

The Role

As a Mixed Vet at this practice, you will embrace a truly mixed caseload, approximately half of which will be large animal, then a chunk of small animal work and a minimal amount of equine work. However, your interests will be listened to and supported, so there will be opportunities for more of what you personally enjoy.

This is a full-time, permanent role, covering 4.5 days a week. With only 1:5 OOHs and 1:5 weekends, you will be able to create a great work/life balance.

Experience / Who we are looking for

  • RCVS registered
  • All experience levels welcome
  • Must be a great team player who loves a varied, fast paced workload
  • High clinical standards & unbeatable customer service skills
  • Must have a full driving license
