We are working with a state-of-the-art referral hospital based near to Basilon. They rarely recruit, but they are currently looking for an OOH RVN to join their experience night team. With a huge focus on gold standard referral care, this is an exciting opportunity for an OOH focused RVN.

Our client is a fairly new referral hospital, and they are only recruiting due to client growth and hospital expansion. This means it’s a very exciting time to join a forward-thinking and highly motivated specialist team.

Our client’s night team is rapidly growing, and you will have the opportunity to work directly with the Senior Night Nurse and Head of Nursing Services to develop and implement new protocols.

This is a rewarding and challenging role that will require both team and individual work throughout the night. This is a working shift with outstanding facilities to support rest breaks provided.

Duties and hours

You will cover a shift pattern of 7 nights on 14 nights off, working 7.45 pm-7.45 am on the 7 nights in the hospital.

Within this role, you will work as part of a large night team that includes interns, nurses, trainee nurses and patient care assistants.

You will provide inpatient and emergency care to patients from neurology, surgery, oncology, cardiology, ophthalmology, and internal medicine, assisting with incoming emergencies and being responsible for case handovers each day.

This is an exciting and varied role. It shall require you to be able to work under pressure, coordinate cases and be willing to learn and develop your skills.
