About this vacancy and our Client’s Veterinary Group
We are looking to recruit a passionate, organised permanent Head Veterinary Nurse to join the group and lead the team at this wonderful practice based in Warrington.
You will be a key part of the leadership team, working alongside the Head Vet and the Business Manager. The current (growing) team in practice consists of 2.5 vets, 4 nurses (a mixture of RVNs, SVNs and VCAs), and 3 receptionists.
As the HVN at this practice, you will be guaranteed a varied caseload. Your duties will consist of both general nursing duties and leadership duties. You will be expected to undertake usual duties such as taking bloods, monitoring anaesthetics and running nurse clinics, as well as being an active part of the team carrying out Schedule 3 procedures.
As well as this, you will be part of the Head Nurse team across all clinics (9 across the country), and you’ll be encouraged to get involved with in-house CPD lectures. It is vital that you are enthusiastic, a team-player, and good at motivating those around you!
Working Hours & Benefits
This is a full-time role; 40 hours/week. 1 in 4 weekends with TOIL. No OOH! Exact hours are flexible and can be discussed, so please get in touch for more info.
