Our client is a friendly and caring veterinary practice who are looking for a permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their existing team. If you have a genuine dedication to nursing, and really care about treating animals to the best of your abilities, you will fit in well with the team here, who pride themselves on all sharing the same philosophy.
The practice will ensure you are well supported in your new role and will provide full training.
Your responsibilities in this role will include general carrying out general nursing duties to the highest standards, including assisting the vets and supporting the HVN, as well as helping any ACAs and SVNs when required. You will also be required to help out with cleaning and occasionally on reception.
Nurse clinics and consults will be a big part of your role, and you will be advising clients on petcare, as well as assisting with stock control and helping to maintain patient records.
Working Hours & Benefits
In this role you will be working 39 hours per week, with shifts between 08:15 – 19:00. A mixture of early and late shifts on a rota basis. 1 in 6 weekends to be worked. No on-call, but some days (on a rota) you may be required to stay slightly later for in-patient checks.
