About this role and our client

We are working with a lovely, independent veterinary practice in Cambridgeshire who are seeking a friendly RVN to join them. You will be welcomed into a social team of 5 RVNs of varying experience levels, plus a fantastic team of vets with varied specialisms and certificates and a wonderful support team. This will be a great opportunity for someone looking for a long-term career with great prospects to progress your knowledge and skills as an RVN. The practice is independently owned and has been well established for over 25 years, having achieved its RCVS-accreditation. Excellent in-house facilities include doppler ultrasound, cardiology and orthopaedics equipment, making for a varied and interesting first-opinion caseload. This RVN position will being tasked with all general nursing duties, including anaesthesia, inpatient care, nurse consults and clinics. You’ll be joining a supportive, close-knit team where you’ll feel welcome from day one, in a lovely environment where learning and development is always encouraged. The practice can offer flexibility with shifts to accommodate part-time or full-time hours, with just 1:4 weekends on a rota basis. Accommodation is available if required.

Who are we looking for?

• You must be registered with the RCVS
• You must be confident in all general nursing duties
• Ideally you will have at least 1-2 years qualified experience
• A genuine passion for animal care and welfare
• Excellent client care skills

Working hours & benefits:

• Full-time, permanent position
• Mixture of shift patterns between 7.40am and 6.30pm
• 1:4 weekends
• No nights or on-call
