About the practice

We have a wonderful opportunity for a caring and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a modern, mixed animal group that cover the East Glasgow area. Based on the stunning Scottish coast, you will be able to embrace both the city life in Glasgow as well as the beach and stunning countryside.

The group has two branches with a talented and experienced team, with interests including medicine, surgery and equine.

The Clinical Directors are extremely supportive and experienced, creating a motivating and exciting workplace. They pride themselves on creating a relaxed, friendly working environment where everyone is appreciated.

The practice has state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, including the latest Karl Storz laparoscopy equipment for performing lap spays, fully equipped lab with the latest haematology, biochemistry, electrolyte and therapeutic monitoring, ultrasound scanner, digital radiography, including dental x-ray machine, endoscope and the latest dental machine, instruments and equipment.

Duties and hours

Duties are based on a rota system consisting of caring for both medical and surgical patients post op, assisting vets in both theatre and prep area, ordering and stock control of pharmacy, caring for isolation patients and lab work.

Hours are full time, with 1 in 3 weekends on rota (time back in lieu following.) No OOH.
