Are you a RVN in Cheshire looking for an exciting, fast paced role in an independent hospital with full support provided?

A position has become available within this state-of-the-art practice for a full time RVN. The hospital has a variety of modern facilities and equipment, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, dental x-ray, sterile operating theatres & consult rooms, laparoscopy, ECG, separate dog/cat wards & a full in-house laboratory. They also offer excellent services such as cardiology, soft tissue surgery & ultrasonography from visiting specialists. The hospital offers the highest of clinical standards and gold standard patient care, which has created a super reliable & loyal clientele.

The team are dynamic and supportive, currently consisting of nearly 10 Vets and a growing nursing team. There is a real family feel to the hospital, making it a positive environment to work in. The team includes certificate holders in ECC, anaesthesia & small animal surgery, making it a varied and talented team that are supportive of career development.

The Role

As a RVN at this practice, you will be involved in all aspects of first opinion nursing within an exciting hospital environment, working a very varied caseload. You will also have the opportunity to develop your interests as further education is highly supported.

The practice has a 1:9 OOH rota, where you work a week of nights or half a week of nights and weekend days. During these shifts, you will be primarily doing inpatient care, but also helping the Vet with anything incoming. There is also a ‘crash’ room for the quiet moments!

This is a full-time, permanent position. The day shifts are on a fair rota basis, earliest start 8am and latest finish 8pm.
