We are working with a fantastic small animal focused group that cover the Peterborough area. They are hoping to find another RVN who is as keen on ensuring a positive approach to clinical work as they are.
This role is available purely due to client growth, so they are open minded to a full or part time RVN. They are more focused on finding a RVN with a passion for what they do!
Day to day you would have a mixture of consults and theatre. However, if you enjoy a certain aspect or nursing more than others, they are happy to work around what you enjoy, as they have found it works well within the team- and ensures a happy work environment.
If you have a passion for clinical coaching that would be advantageous, but certainly not a requirement as they have student nurses regularly.
Equally they would be happy to support a newly qualified RVN.
The current full time RVNs are on a 40hr week contract, with most choosing to do four long days (8:30-6:30 or 9-7) and have a set day off a week. The weekend rota is 1.5/7 with time back in lieu the following week.
Full weekend is 9-5 Saturday, 10-4 Sunday. Half weekend is 9-2 Saturday.
They offer unlimited CPD and try to make sure that all their nurses go to a conference every year (if they want!). Certificates funded, they currently have nurses doing/completed ECC, Anaesthesia and Consulting certs.
Management really cares about their team wellbeing and sit down with everyone individually, at least once every six weeks to check in and make sure everything is ok. They are understanding of life- whether this is needing to swap shifts/work around childcare, or if you are having personal factors you need to consider.
