Close to beautiful Easingwold (just North of York), an RCVS-accredited practice is seeking a RVN to join their growing small animal team.

Within their surgery, they also cover equine and farm animals & uphold a highly loyal clientele. They have all the facilities and equipment you would expect of such accreditation, including (but not limited to) digital x-ray, ultrasound, full in-house diagnostics, radiography, ECG, endoscopy and air-conditioned separate dog/cat wards. They work hard to always be proactive and have the most up-to-date equipment to be able to provide gold standards of care.

You will be joining a developing, close-knit nursing team, currently consisting of an experienced HVN & a group of support staff. Their interests include dentistry, radiography, anaesthesia, ECC & diagnostic imaging. You will be joining a diverse, up-and-coming team that are always ready to work together efficiently to provide the best care.

This is a full-time, permanent role, covering 4.5 days within the week. You will be able to embrace all aspects of veterinary nursing, where you will be encouraged to fulfil your role as a RVN & develop your own interests in a supportive environment. If you are not already, you will be encouraged to become a Clinical Coach to assist in the training of the team. They work hard to create a great work/life balance, with minimal OOH requirements: 1 in 5 weekends on call (incl. Sat morn in clinic, 1 in 5 Saturday mornings on reception & 1 in 5 weeknights on call.

Who are we looking for?

  • RCVS registered
  • Clinical Coach preferred, but also happy to take on someone who is interested to become one
  • A proactive RVN with high clinical standards
  • A great team player who is also aware of their own abilities & what they can bring to a growing team
  • Ideally you will have experience within a UK SA first opinion practice
