We have a super exciting opportunity become available within a state-of-the-art hospital on the Devon coast for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a talented team.
The hospital has various accreditations including being Tier 3 and Gold standard ISFM cat friendly, as well as wonderful facilities and equipment such as internal lab, pharmacy, 5 consult rooms with separate dog and cat waiting areas, a dental suite, an imaging suite and much, much more. They are well-established with a loyal clientele, with the ability to uphold high clinical standards & gold standard patient care within their modern practice to serve their community.
You will be joining a diverse and experienced team, consisting of a large number of Vets and over 15 on the nursing team. The group includes nurses with anaesthesia, critical care and feline nursing certificates – your interests will always be supported & you will be welcomed with open arms into a friendly, proactive team.
The Role
As a RVN at this practice you will be involved in the varied caseload that the hospital brings, with full support all the way through. The hospital prides themselves on having the highest clinical standards and being progressive, so you will be supported to uphold these. Your main day to day duties will include assisting in surgeries and helping to train nurses.
Both full-time and part-time will be considered for this permanent position, with at least 1:4 weekends and 1 night a week on duty. Apart from this, the practice is flexible with hours and is keen on providing a great work/life balance.
Experience / Who we are looking for
- RCVS registered
- Clinical Coach or desire to become one
- High clinical standards
