About the practice

We are working with a team focused, small animal group that cover the Romford area.

They are hoping to find a ECC and OOH focused RVN that is looking for a new opportunity – either on a full or part time basis. This role is within a surgery that have a focus on mental health, work/life balance and high standards of care.

Their night team is expanding, and as a result we are looking for an inpatient focused RVN that enjoys OOH, ECC and ward nursing.

You would join an experienced team of 6 vets, 12 nurses, 3-night vets, and 6 receptionists.

Our client prides themselves on their diverse team with individual interests ranging from medicine to soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. The practice boasts modern equipment, including digital X-ray, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory facilities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a RVN with a passion for wards and inpatient care to really come into their own. Whilst also having the variety of ECC caseloads throughout the night, while working in a close-knit, supportive night team.

Duties and hours

Hours can be either full or part time, our client is more focused on finding the right fit to join their team.

Hours are 8.15pm-8.15am.

Full time hours work out as 3 nights per week.

When working in the OOH team you will be in sole charge, alongside an OOH VCA and OOH vet.

The successful applicant will possess excellent communication skills and confidence in all aspects of general nursing.

Whether you’re an experienced OOH RVN or a 2nd-year Student Veterinary Nurse, we would love to hear from you.

  • A night owl with a love for inpatient care and ward nursing.
