About this role and our client
We are working with a multi-site, first opinion veterinary group in North Hampshire who are looking for either an RVN or Senior RVN to join their friendly team. You’ll be welcomed into a supportive group of 11 veterinary nurses of varying experience levels, including students. The surgery sees a varied first opinion caseload, with a range of special interests within the veterinary team including medicine, surgery and acupuncture. General nursing duties will include inpatient care, assisting in theatre, nurse consults and some reception duties, across two well equipped surgeries in a picturesque location near the South Downs National Park. Ideally the practice are looking for a full-time RVN, however part time hours will be considered for the right candidate. There aren’t any on-call responsibilities with the role, but inpatient care is covered on a rota shared between the whole team.
Who are we looking for?
• You must be registered with the RCVS
• You should be a competent RVN who is confident with all first opinion nursing duties
• A team player with a genuine passion for animal care and welfare
• Excellent client care skills and the desire to deliver outstanding service
