We are working with an award-winning group that cover the South Glasgow area. The group are well established and have a large client base across their group. They are an RCVS accredited hospital, and proudly serve the Glasgow area covering OOH for their own clients and also practices surrounding them.

The hospital proudly stands as one of the most comprehensive and advanced veterinary care facilities in the UK, where they can offer many of the latest advanced services available in veterinary science, including Brachycephalic airway obstructive syndrome (BOAS) surgery, Cardiology services, Diagnostic Imaging (CT and MRI), Oncology, Neurology, and Advanced Surgery – ensuring that every pet has the highest possible standard of care.

They have a rare OOH RVN opportunity to join their current OOH nursing team.

Duties and hours

Your shift pattern would be 7 nights on, 14 nights off covering: 18.30pm – 07.30am.

Within this role you would be the sole charge RVN on site within an OOH veterinary team. You would be responsible for liaising with ward Vets and RVNs to create overnight nursing plans. You would be accountable for planning and organising the night alongside a dedicated OOH PCA. On handover you would provide a comprehensive handover to the day team.

This is an exciting role for a RVN that enjoys OOH and inpatient care. You will be able to gain a great work / life balance with a great shift pattern.

Our client has an Out-of-Hours service provider from 10 pm on weekdays and 6 pm at weekends, so there is time to focus on the gold standard nursing care you have always wanted to do.
