We are working with a well-established veterinary practice in Gloucester who are recruiting for a confident Vet to join to join their friendly, supportive team. This lovely group has a number of branches within the local area, and is a part of a renowned, market-leading veterinary group across the UK. The practice has state-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical facilities on-site, enabling you to fully work up cases in-house and work with a varied first opinion caseload as well as some more advanced cases and procedures. If you are a competent, confident Vet who enjoys working in a team and is dedicated to providing gold standard care for all your patients, we would love to hear from you today.

The Role

You will encounter all the responsibilities you would expect within a busy, first opinion veterinary practice – you’ll be consulting, working up cases and performing routine surgeries throughout your working week. With this in mind, you will need to be comfortable in sole charge and carrying out routine procedures such as dentals, lumpectomies and bitch spays independently. The practice can accommodate full or part time hours and there are no night duties with this position, but please note you will be required to cover occasional weekends on a rota basis.
