About this role and our client
We are working with a lovely, RCVS-accredited veterinary group in central Essex, who are seeking a permanent Vet to join their friendly and supportive team on a permanent basis. You will be welcomed into a busy environment working with a varied and diverse caseload, with excellent on-site facilities and ISFM accreditation to enable you to provide excellent standards of care to your patients. You will primarily be based at the main hospital, but you will be required to cover the local branches from time to time. The hospital has excellent facilities including orthopaedic & laparoscopic kits, endoscopes, ultrasound and advanced in-house lab. Your daily responsibilities will include consults, caring for patients on the wards and performing ops.
You’ll be welcomed into a large, friendly team of 12 vets, 20 on the nursing team, plus receptionists and support staff, with certificate holders and a variation of special interests within both the vet and RVN teams. Despite being a large team, everyone works closely together and supports one another, as well as enjoying regular team nights and social events together when circumstances allow!
Who are we looking for?
• You must be registered with the RCVS
• You should enjoy working within a team
• You can work up a range of varied surgical and medical cases
• Sole charge experience is necessary
Working hours & benefits:
• Full-time, permanent position – part-time applications will also be considered
• 4 day working week, shifts between 8am-7pm
• No OOHs or nights
• 1:10 weekend rota for client emergencies only (finishing at 6pm)
