About this vacancy and our client
We are currently working with a busy, independent practice in North London who are seeking a confident Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. Full-time or part-time hours are available, with a flexible Monday-Friday rota and just 1:3 Saturdays. The OOH care for the practice is shared between an in-house service and another local provider for emergency care, so whilst you may be required to assist occasionally with inpatient checks, this will not be a frequent occurrence. This well-equipped practice is purpose built with excellent facilities including ultrasound, digital x-ray and endoscopy. You’ll be joining a lovely team of 3 vets, 3 nurses plus separate reception and administration teams to support you and you’ll be encouraged to pursue your special interests as a vet.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out first opinion consults and routine operations to an excellent standard and should be keen to fully work up your own cases in house. This practice has a loyal client base, carefully built over many years of excellent care and service – so, naturally, we are looking for someone who can continue to build their fantastic reputation. There is a visiting orthopaedics specialist who comes to the surgery regularly, and you will be encouraged to pursue and develop your own special clinical interests.
Experience / Who we are looking for
• You must be registered with the RCVS
• Qualified Veterinary Surgeon of any experience level
• Positive, team orientated approach
• Keen to continually develop your professional skills
