About this vacancy and our Client’s Veterinary Group
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Qualified Veterinary Nurse to join a proudly independent practice in a beautiful rural area near Aylesbury, starting in Spring 2019. You will be welcomed by a supportive, close-knit team into this fully-equipped, purpose built Small Animal Surgery.
The practice has been well-established for many years now and has an outstanding local reputation for offering an expert, caring and personalised service to every pet and client they see. The beauty of working in a privately-owned practice is that you will benefit from being able to tailor your advice and treatments to perfectly suit each individual on a case by case basis, without the restrictions that you might encounter in a larger chain or group.
Your daily duties will include a full mixture of nursing duties, including assistance in surgeries, inpatient care and a good amount of nurse consultations. Practice administration and some reception cover will also be required to allow the Receptionist to carry out their own additional duties away from the front desk, as you would expect in a close-knit team, everyone helps everyone!
We require a Qualified Veterinary Nurse or RVN, and will also happily consider someone who is newly qualified and is looking to settle into a long-term position where you can develop your skills and be supported every step of the way.
Working Hours & Benefits
• Fantastic Package with full support provided
• Excellent salary in line with your level of experience + overtime
• 35hr week, no OOH

• The opportunity to work in a proudly independent practice with excellent development prospects for your skills and future career.
