About the practice
We’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic RVN to join our client near Cambridge. They have recently expanded and as a result have grown their client numbers.
As a result, there is now an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Nurse to join their team where a four-day week on a full-time salary will be standard! The group have a fantastic focus on work/life balance and mental health within the workplace.
The practice is bright, spacious, air-conditioned and is purpose built to industry leading standards. They have state of the art equipment including digital X-ray, full orthopaedic equipment, extensive endoscopic and laparoscopic equipment, ultrasound and in-house laboratory facilities.
You would be joining a supportive, energetic and progressive team consisting of 10 Vets, 12 RVNs, 1 SVN, a team of 6 Receptionists and a Practice Manager. The team benefits from a variety of experience and individual interests, including critical care, anaesthesia, soft tissue surgery, endoscopy and laparoscopy.
The team see a wide variety of surgical and medical cases with a high percentage of clients being insured, this allows cases to be worked up to a high standard. Laparoscopic bitch spays are performed as standard.

Duties and hours
Day to day you would have the opportunity to cover more complex surgical and medical cases if you were interested. As well as all aspects of first opinion surgery and caseloads.
4 day working week. Paid for a FT role.
There is no Out of Hours and double pay for any overtime incurred.
Weekends are based on a rota basis with time off in lieu the following week.
