About the practice
We are working with a fantastic college that cover the Yorkshire area, they rarely recruit as they have a strong longstanding teaching team.
However, they do presently have a rare opportunity to join their (Veterinary Nursing) Department/Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Nursing lecturer, you do not have to have taught before, but you will have a passion for teaching future RVNs.
Duties and hours
This role will be working full time, permanent basis. Our client will also consider part time applicants.
Full time hours are Monday to Friday covering 37 hours per week, no weekends and no OOH.
Within this role, you will be responsible for course and module organisation in addition to teaching across veterinary nursing programmes. You will work in a brilliant team environment, so you must enjoy working with others.
Who are we looking for?
- RCVS registered.
- A confident, caring RVN.
- You will have experience of supporting veterinary nursing students either in an educational setting, or clinical environment.
- Great team player & communicator.
- High clinical standards & gold standard patient care.
- You do not have to have taught before, but you will be keen to teach SVNs.
- Someone who is looking to develop their career.
- The successful candidate must be a registered veterinary nurses or MRCVS.
- Successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
Key benefits:
- Salary of £29,787 to £32,552 per annum for full time. This is dependent on experience.
