About this role and our client

We are working with a well-established, RCVS-accredited veterinary group in Cambridgeshire who are seeking a compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This RCVS-accredited veterinary group has state-of-the-art facilities to cover all aspects of first opinion veterinary services across their hospital and branch practices, including comprehensive diagnostic services in digital radiography, ultrasound scanning, endoscopy and electrocardiography. You’ll be welcomed into a friendly, experienced team with various certificate holders and advanced practitioners, enabling the hospital to see a diverse and interesting medical and surgical caseload. With this in mind, the role will be best suited to someone who enjoys working a diverse range of cases within a supportive, busy environment. The practice would also be open to taking on a consult-only vet, a perfect option for someone who isn’t overly keen on surgery and prefers client interaction and seeing medical cases.
The practice can offer complete flexibility with hours whether you are looking for full or part time – as long as you are a compassionate and driven individual who is dedicated to providing gold standard care to your patients, we would love to hear from you.

Who are we looking for?

• Qualified Veterinary Surgeon of any experience level
• A great team player dedicated to providing gold standard care
• Someone who would prefer a consult-only role would be welcome to apply, but the practice can also accommodate someone with a surgical bias

Working hours & benefits:

• Permanent position (the practice also has a 12 month maternity contract available if this would be preferable)
• Complete flexibility on hours to accommodate full-time, part-time, half days, evenings etc.
• Generous salary in line with your level of experience
• 5 weeks’ annual leave p.a. plus bank holidays and your birthday off
• Generous CPD allowance £1500 pa, supported and encouraged
• Professional membership fees paid (RCVS, VDS, BSAVA)
• Staff discounts
• Relocation support
• Career progression opportunities
• Further excellent company benefits
