About this vacancy and our Client’s Veterinary Group
We are working with a very well-established small animal practice based just East of Southampton. We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional individual to join our client’s vibrant team as an Assistant Veterinary Surgeon.
They have a purpose built, modern surgery that has been built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including digital X-ray, ultrasound and in-house laboratory facilities. In addition to onsite parking they have great transport links, being close to the M27 and M3, and within commutable distance of Southampton, Winchester and Portsmouth.
The current team consists of 4 Vets, 8 Nurses and 4 Receptionists; all of whom share a passion for patient wellbeing, preventative care and customer care.
Applicants should have good general surgical and medical skills and have a great customer focus.
You must have enthusiasm and take pride in your work. Communication skills are extremely important, and the successful candidate will enjoy building relationships with patients, clients and the wider team!
On a day to day basis you would cover all aspects of first opinion nursing and consults. You should be a keen team member and enjoy working within a strong team, where everyone wants to help and support each other.
Working Hours & Benefits
There is full or part times hours available, both include weekends on with 1 in 4 rotation. There is no OOH or sole charge with this role.
