Are you a Vet in South Wales who is looking for a position with real growth opportunities within the surgical field?
Our client owns a state-of-the-art RCVS accredited hospital in the cultural city of Cardiff. The practice has modern facilities and equipment including CT imaging, DR and CR radiography, visiting MRI, endoscopy, ultrasound, radioactive iodine and a full in-house laboratory. They are also proud to say they have separate ortho and soft tissue theatres, as well as a separate exotics & feline theatres and wards. They strive to provide the highest clinical standards, best client care and be proactive within the industry. They have a strong, talented group inclusive of a variety of certificate holders and a wonderfully supportive nursing team.
The role is a full-time, permanent position, but they would be open to part time applications. The position has become available with the hopes of the candidate (further along the line) becoming the lead in their surgery services, with a focus on radiology and radiotherapy. As well as this, they are keen for this position holder to work closely with other practices in the UK to create a new residency scheme. This is a really exciting opportunity for an experienced Vet with a interest/certificate in surgery to develop their career further.
Who are we looking for?
- RCVS registered
- Surgical interest necessary
- Management experienced / willingness to learn preferred
- A great team player who can also work from their own initiative
- A confident Vet with a passion for what they do
- High clinical standards & impeccable customer service / client care skills
- 5+ years UK experience
