Our Client runs a well-established first opinion, small animal practice in Darlington. They pride themselves on having modern facilities and equipment, aiding their fantastic work, such as in-house laboratory, endoscopy, ultrasound, digital x-ray and a fully equipped, state-of-the-art operating theatre. They can also cater for small furries and therefore have a rather varied caseload.
You would be joining a close-knit, talented team who really thrive in their independent ‘family’ dynamic. They all support each other and grow from each other’s’ knowledge, but you will also be encouraged to follow your own interests.
The Role
As a Vet at this practice, you will need to have the experience to be confident in all routine surgeries and consults expected within a first-opinion environment.
This is a full-time, permanent position with only 1:4 weekends (and the Monday off after a weekend). You will also be involved in the OOH on call on some nights, but the RVN on duty takes the initial call.
Experience / Who we are looking for
- Experienced Vet, with at least 2 years’ + UK experience
- RCVS registered
- Great team player
- Positive attitude
