Are you a Vet in Hereford looking for a new start within a close-knit team? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.
Our Client has a position become available within their well-established practice which is filled with state-of-the art facilities and equipment such as digital x-ray, ultrasound, in house lab machines and multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring equipment.
The team are dynamic, consisting of over 5 Vets and over 10 on the nursing team. With two vets currently undertaking certificates (one in cardiology and one in surgery) and various visiting specialists such as an oncologist, ultrasonographer and orthopaedic specialist, you will be surrounded by a highly skilled team that are ready for another string to their talented bow.
In central Hereford, you will have great connections to Birmingham, Warwick, Worcester & Cardiff, as well as amazing countryside such as the Brecon Beacons to explore in your spare time, especially as this role provides wonderful work/life balance.
The Role
As a Vet at this practice, you will be involved in all routine consults & ops expected of a first opinion practice. The Client promises at least 1 day in theatre a week – they are aware that variety and interests are super important!
This is a full-time position, 4-day week. With only one night a week and 1:5 weekends on call (in sole charge), you will have a fantastic work/life balance. You will also have the pleasure of a long weekend after your weekend on call.
