Veterinary Work in the South West
The South West is known for being a beautiful area of the UK. There is a huge amount of greenery with lots of rolling hills and farmland. Within the South West there is Gloucestershire which is very well known for the beautiful Cotswolds and also Forest of Dean; both stunning areas of natural beauty. Bath sits fairly central within the South West; known for it’s quirky, unique and busy centre filled with wonderful bars, shops and historical baths. Further South is Somerset- known for beautiful green areas and huge amounts of farmlands and space. Throughout Somerset particularly there is mainly mixed and farm focused groups. Towards the bottom of the South west is Devon and Cornwall; where there is beautiful beaches, fantastic small villages and towns for local shopping.
The South West area sits within our map as Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Hampshire with parts of Surrey falling into this too. Throughout the South West there are mainly small animal focused surgeries- as the region has a lot of towns and city centres and thus there are more small animals than larger. This region is very green and comprises of stunning countryside and wonderful local villages and towns. In Hampshire there are many more groups that are mixed animal orientated as there is a much larger amount of farm based clients around this area- likely linked to the large expanses of farmland and lovely farming community.
