Are you looking for a new challenge in an RCVS accredited practice? Do you enjoy leading a team? If so, this may be the perfect opportunity for you to join a well-established group that are looking for their new Lead RVN.
The group focus purely on small animal, with a highly experienced team of veterinary surgeons, qualified veterinary nurses, auxiliary nurses, receptionists, and support staff. The surgery has wonderful, modern facilities including digital x-ray, endoscopy, rigid endoscopy, ultrasound, ligasure, orthopaedic facilities and dental radiography.
As a Lead Veterinary Nurse, you will be working alongside the HVN and the nursing team to support and encourage collaborative working within the team, whilst also liaising with the veterinary surgeon team to ensure the smooth running across the caseloads and patients.
Our client has a real focus on the value of their nursing team, and as a result does everything possible to appreciate, encouraged and look after the team- to enable them to be the best nurses that they can be.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking to find someone that is team focused and loves working with others. Ideally you will already be in a leadership role or looking to make a move and develop your career in a Senior RVN role.
The ideal candidate will be a talented RVN who has exceptional nursing skills, who can inspire, motivate, and support others in a senior position. Clinical and leadership skills are areas in which you will be keen to develop, and you will be supported to achieve this.
Working hours & benefits:
Your new role will be based on a 37.5 hour week between the hours of 8 am and 7.30 pm weekdays- these shifts are either 11am-7pm or 8am-4pm. Weekends are worked on a 1:6 rota, 9am-midday Saturday and 9.30am-11.30am Sunday.
OOH is covered by Vets Now.
The rota is flexible, and the surgery has found slightly less weekday hours gives the team a better work / life balance.
