Website VN Recruitment Ltd

About the practice

Our client is a RCVS accredited practice and they have achieved ‘Outstanding’ status for ‘client service’ and for ‘team and professional responsibility’ from the RCVS in addition to the bronze ISFM accreditation.  Their commitment to client care means they have a loyal and friendly client base with a good percentage of insured pets so get to keep cases in house where appropriate.

They are very focused on employee well being, flexible working and ensure all of their team have a great work /life balance whilst also feeling professionally appreciated.

You would join a team of 4 other vets, 6 experienced RVNs, 1 SVN, practice manager, and 5 receptionists (all BVRA qualified.) Many of the team (both vets and RVNs) have certificates, and in the vet team imaging and dermatology certificates are currently being studied.

With a visiting peripatetic orthopaedic surgeon, ultra-sonographers and cardiologists there are very few cases that aren’t covered in house.

The team are very close knit and have a great attitude to working together, with regular team meetings and social events outside of work.

Our client has a beautiful garden area for the team to enjoy and an indoor colleague area for the colder days.  They have a well-being board for the whole team for recognition and to organise social events and have two mental health first-aiders in the team.  They also hold regular practice and vet meetings to allow everyone chance to input into their ways of working.

With low staff turnover this is a rare opportunity, so for more information please do get in touch!
