About this vacancy and our Client!
We are currently exclusively working an opportunity on behalf of a small animal focused RCVS Accredited Tier 3 Hospital in the York area. They have high standards of care, and pride themselves on their well-established reputation.
The group cover all aspects of small animal care, with their own night service to cover ECC and OOH, as a result no inpatients are transferred elsewhere overnight. This ensures that high standards of care are always met.
Location
You would be based in the flagship site for this large group, and this is in the York city centre region. Depending on your experience, you may occasionally be asked to cover one of the branch surgeries to help with sickness/holidays- but they are all within the YO postcode area.
The Role
This role is covering all aspects of small animal first opinion caseloads and surgery. If you have any areas of specialisation/interest then these can be fully supported, ensuring you gain access to varied caseloads.
You will be working within a fast-paced environment with a large experienced hospital team- including many certificate holders.
Experience / Who we are looking for
Our client is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who is looking to progress long term within a supportive group, they are keen to find a great team fit as well as someone who really enjoys client interaction.
Work Hours & Benefits
This position is ideally for a full-time veterinary surgeon, which is an average 40 hours working week across 4 days. Shift times range between 8am-8pm.
You would be included in a 1 in 4 weekends day shifts. No OOH.
Our client will also consider part time applications for the right individual.
