Happy Friday!

This week has been a busy one for all of us here at VN Recruitment.

As you might well be aware, this week marks the start of the academic year for a lot of people – meaning the kids are going back to school and the students back to university. That also means that lots of parents will be going back to full-time work – and potentially job-hunting! We have noticed a big increase in the number of candidates getting in touch with us over the past week or so. That means that we’ve been putting our all in to trying to find the right match between candidate and client. This week we have been placing locums, arranging interviews, and making permanent placements.

Alongside applications increasing, we’ve also been inundated with jobs to advertise and positions that need filling. We’re over the moon to be able to help out with this, and we are constantly doing our best to fill the gaps – whether that’s a gap in your team, or the space in your heart which is looking for the ideal new role!

We have also had an excellent furry addition to the office this week – as you can see from the photo above!

BVNA Month

We really want you to get to know us and what we do, and who we are outside the office – so we have added a new section to our website where you can read a little more about each of us. Check out the new Meet the Team page, where you can see a little introduction to Laura, Helen and Manda!

As well as talking to a lot of candidates and advertising for new roles, we have been busy organising other exciting things. Next month, we are heading to the British Veterinary Nursing Association (BVNA) congress. (Let us know if you’ll be in attendance!) We’ve been preparing for a while already, but this week we designed and ordered the shirts that we’ll be wearing – you’ll have to come and visit our stall to see the finished product!

Check out our social media pages (Instagram and Facebook) to see what we’re up to throughout the week.
