The Role

Are you an experienced RVN looking to take the next step in your career? Do you enjoy leading by example while remaining hands on clinically?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Head Veterinary Nurse to join a thriving, supportive practice in Ayrshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a forward thinking team where nurses are genuinely valued and encouraged to develop their skills. You’ll work alongside experienced colleagues, including Head Nurses and owners who understand the profession and are passionate about supporting nursing teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supporting the nursing team.
  • Nurse consultations.
  • Monitoring anaesthesia.
  • Inpatient and medical nursing care.
  • Supporting surgical procedures.
  • Delivering exceptional patient and client care.

Hours

  • Full or part time (30-40 hours per week).
  • Flexible working available.
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays.
  • No OOH.

Who Are We Looking For?

  • RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse.
  • Confident leading and supporting a team.
  • Passionate about high clinical standards and client care.
  • Positive, proactive and team focused.
