We’re working with a modern, well-equipped veterinary practice in Bristol who are seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team. The practice was established less than 10 years ago and was purpose-built to industry-leading standards, with excellent facilities on-site. During this time they have built a strong, well-established team and have a loyal, growing client base. Ideally located in the lively city of Bristol, this fantastic surgery is a part of a larger veterinary group that are leading the way for a modern and progressive approach to first opinion veterinary practice and gold standard small animal care. The practice has excellent clinical facilities to perform advanced procedures in-house, such as orthopaedic surgeries and complex medical procedures.
The Role
This role would be perfectly suited to a confident Registered Veterinary Nurse who has at least 1 year of qualified experience. You’ll be tasked with a range of general nursing duties, including inpatient care, assistance in theatre, anaesthesia and nurse consults. This is a full-time position with a 1:4 weekend rota and no OOH or on-call. You’ll be working with a varied first-opinion caseload including advanced medical procedures and orthopaedic surgeries. The role will be perfect for a team-orientated individual who enjoys working closely with their colleagues and is compassionate with their approach to animal care and welfare.
Experience / Who we are looking for
• You must be registered with the RCVS
• Ideally you will have 1 year post-qualified experience
• You must be team-orientated but equally be confident working independently if needed
• Excellent client care skills
• A true passion for animal welfare
