Practice description

Join a friendly, independently owned small animal practice near to Stoke on Trent. This modern, well equipped surgery offers a supportive team environment where your ideas are valued, and decisions can be made quickly.

With digital x-ray, ultrasound, blood pressure monitoring and an in-house laboratory, you’ll have everything you need to provide excellent patient care.

The team includes experienced vets, skilled RVNs and an experienced support team, with one vet having a particular interest in exotics. The practice is also proud to be a certified Autism Friendly Surgery.

The role:

We’re looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join the team on a flexible part-time basis. You’ll enjoy genuine clinical freedom, a varied caseload and the opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues who are happy to support your development.

You would cover all aspects of first opinion caseloads and surgeries within a close knit team.

Whether you’re looking to continue building your surgical skills or pursue further qualifications, you’ll be encouraged every step of the way.

Hours:

  • Part time with flexible working options- our client is more focused on finding the right team fit.
  • Ideally Monday, Wednesday and Thursday- but other days can be discussed.
  • 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (9:00am–12:00pm.)
  • No Sundays.
  • No OOH.

  • An experienced Veterinary Surgeon who is confident with medicine and routine surgery.
  • Someone who enjoys working within a team environment.

  • You will be keen to continue learning and developing through CPD or further qualifications.
