About the practice

We are working with a team that is forward-thinking, care focused and have a great approach to small animal practice. Our client is keen to ensure that all employees are supported with mental health at the heart of their day.

The practice is well established (with over 30% insured clients,) and they have a large vet team consisting of 9 veterinary surgeons, with the support of a large nursing and reception team (15 additional colleagues.)

With purpose built, modern facilities that have been newly renovated there is a huge amount of scope to cover a large variety of caseloads day to day.

Roles rarely become available in this practice as there is low staff turnover, and this vacancy is due to practice growth.

Duties and hours

This role covers all aspects of first opinion GP caseloads and surgery. If there are any areas that you are keen to develop our client can implement strategy to encourage this, plus fund any certificates.

Our client is openminded in terms of hours, they are more focused on the right personality fit within their team.

Typical full-time hours are 40 hours per week, but they are happy to accept part time applications.

A full-time standard shift pattern this is covering 8am – 6pm or 10am – 8pm (with only one late shift per week), with 1 weekend (Sat 9-6, Sun 10-4) a month.

No sole charge work and no OOH responsibilities.
